Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modelling Senior Analyst (Quantitative Analyst) to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise analytic solutions for our businesses.

About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serving as an ambassador for data modelling
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams of data scientists and business process owners to deliver cutting-edge analytic solutions
  • Designing and delivering enterprise analytic solutions for our businesses
  • Working in a highly interactive and team-oriented environment with data scientists and visualization experts
  • Ensuring core Bank and source systems, data, and metadata are appropriately managed to support business requirements and needs
  • Developing and/or designing data solutions and conducting reviews of data models and outputs to validate and test the quality of information and solutions

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree or technical certificate, preferably in a STEM field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience working in Python with projects focused on analytics, preferably financial analytics
  • High-level comfort with Python UI development, analytics/visualization, and some ML libraries such as Streamlit, PySimpleGUI, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, etc.
  • BASIC skills in SAS coding, preferred but not critical
  • Basic knowledge of credit risk, not critical
  • Basic understanding of statistics and economics for model development
