Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Vortec Electric is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, generators, and control systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Interpret electrical code specifications and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
  • Work with electrical contractors and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
