About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Himmat Logistics Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that they are properly secured and handled.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all parties are informed of any issues or delays.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
