Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transportation Operations: Drive a commercial vehicle as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the vehicle, taking care to ensure the safe handling of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment, to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Logistics and Administration: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Specialized Transportation: Transport and handle hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with overtime required as needed.
