About the Role

As a Senior Financial Advisor at Scotiabank, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their financial goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to our customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored financial solutions to meet their objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial situations and providing personalized advice and guidance.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify opportunities to provide financial solutions, such as investment products, borrowing solutions, and day-to-day banking services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that meet customer needs and goals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by delivering exceptional customer service and providing value-added financial solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to customers.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a sales or customer-facing role, with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering results.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, including investments, borrowing solutions, and day-to-day banking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Mutual Funds license and completed CIFP Diploma.
