Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing AutoCAD for macOS. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional quality and user experience by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test strategies. Your involvement in presenting and demonstrating product functionalities to partners will be crucial to our project's success.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Participating in Scrum ceremonies for requirement gathering, test planning, execution, and progress reporting
  • Developing comprehensive software automation test plans with manual testers and developers, focusing on API, UI, functionality, performance, memory leak, and workflow
  • Receiving defect reports from other sources and confirming specific issues for use by development
  • Writing test cases based on real production work and creating scripts for automation
  • Maintaining high-quality standards for products
  • Reproducing random crashes and helping developers identify root causes
  • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring automation test dashboards and reports for engineering processes

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or relevant domains
  • 3-5 years of experience in Software QA, Development, or relevant industries
  • Experience in testing software APIs and UI using C++, Objective-C, and Python
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems (analyzing alternatives, risks, and benefits)
  • Eagerness for new challenges and expanding knowledge
  • Experience with CAD software, scripting, or Auto LISP programming, and Cocoa programming as a plus

Salary Information

This position offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
