Senior Property Insurance Risk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Insurance Risk Specialist to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for promoting and delivering advanced risk management techniques to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize loss exposure and trends
- Conduct site assessments and customer interviews to identify hazards and controls for risks
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Brokers to develop best practices and provide advisory services
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in risk management and insurance
- Provide training and education programs to customers on risk management and insurance
- Post-secondary education and/or industry-specific experience in engineering or engineering technology
- Minimum 5-8 years industry experience as a risk consultant or in a related engineering or engineering technology field
- Working knowledge of NFPA standards and fire/building codes
- Experience in assessing commercial automobile fleets is an asset
- Level 1 Infrared thermography certification is an asset
- Experience in agricultural and/or course of construction (COC) risk is an asset
- Advanced level of skill and knowledge understanding of risk and insurance management
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, be outdoors and potentially be able to climb ladders
