Service Technician Role

The OSI Maritime Systems Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to provide technical support for the integration and problem diagnosis of our navigational system products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission navigation systems products at customer sites worldwide.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware assembly problems, software configuration, network, and integration issues.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to customers on system installation, maintenance, and problem diagnosis.
  • Provide customer support via email and telephone.
  • Offer technical guidance and advice to internal staff in resolving technical problems.
  • Assist the Production Department with testing of component parts and sub-systems.
  • Maintain required records and documentation in accordance with service procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company requirements and ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Requirements:

  • Electronics Diploma of Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of Service Engineering experience, preferably in the military domain.
  • 5 years of practical work experience in a technical customer service environment, preferably in marine electronics.
  • Extensive knowledge of Electronic and Windows operating systems, system networks, and software scripting.
