Job Title: Pattern Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pattern Designer to join our team at Laura Canada. As a Pattern Designer, you will be responsible for designing patterns to produce executable garments that meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine technical designer sketches to ensure feasibility and provide feedback when necessary.
- Design balanced and proportional patterns that meet Laura Canada standards.
- Write specification sheets and sewing guidelines for each sample.
- Ensure sample production matches the pattern and original sketch.
- Make corrections to styles as needed.
- Finalize tech-packs for imported styles by identifying relevant measuring points.
- Verify preproduction and TOP samples, and report corrections to be made.
- Respect approval ratios and achieve monthly design objectives.
- Keep workflow lists up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Fashion design diploma or diploma in garment techniques.
- 5 years' experience in pattern design for ladies' apparel.
- Proficient knowledge of PAD system.
- Analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive, proactive, and productive approach.
