About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead our technical teams in delivering innovative solutions to our clients. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the technical aspects of our projects from inception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical teams in the development of complex solutions
  • Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices and architectural principles
  • Apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver viable solutions
  • Anticipate obstacles and execute proactive approaches to issues
  • Provide detailed development estimates and weekly status reporting
  • Configuration management for sub-projects within the release
  • Responsible for coding, testing, packaging, deployment, and support of builds
  • Participate in development of test strategy, test plans, and testing efforts
  • Provide technical support to business and testing teams
  • Track defects, defect triage, and resolution
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior developers
Requirements
  • Experience in data engineering with a focus on real-time data processing
  • Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, and HBase
  • Hands-on experience with the Akka framework for building distributed systems
  • Proficient in Java
  • Understanding of data communication protocols such as REST and GRPC
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
