The role of the Quality Control Supervisor is crucial in ensuring that all materials, processes, and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) including online quality control and internal auditing.
The Quality Control Supervisor will also be responsible for summarizing quality data, including semi-product, finished goods, online tests, and environmental data. They will assist in the implementation of QMS and other quality-related procedures and policies, and provide feedback to the Quality Assurance team to maintain the QMS.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Biology, and two or more years of experience performing quality control tests in a food, beverage, or dairy production environment. Dairy experience is preferred, as is supervisory experience.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for training production technicians for online testing and shadowing, supervising QC Technicians, and coordinating lab activities and testing to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
