Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at D.C. Campbell Recycling Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements to increase productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor warehouse staff on duties, policies, and procedures.
  • Work Coordination and Review: Coordinate, assign, and review work tasks to ensure efficient use of resources and meet productivity goals.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
  • Fluency in English.
