Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at D.C. Campbell Recycling Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Create and execute plans to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Ensure Equipment and Machinery Functionality: Troubleshoot and maintain computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide Technical Guidance and Training: Train and mentor warehouse staff on duties, policies, and procedures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate and Review Work: Assign tasks, monitor progress, and review work to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in English language
