Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is a luxurious resort nestled in the stunning Canadian Rockies, offering a unique blend of mountain living and luxury amenities. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dishwasher Steward.

Job Summary

We are recruiting for twelve (12) Steward – Dishwasher positions (NOC 6711) to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is a full-time position, 30-40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $17.50. Overtime may be necessary as required, paid at time and half.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize chinaware, glassware, and utensils in the dishwasher
• Sort and wash all cutlery
• Properly store all cutlery and china in designated areas
• Use and store chemicals safely and responsibly
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and mopping as needed
• Ensure safe handling of tableware to reduce breakage
• Wash and store pots and utensils
• Report any safety hazards or incidents
• Assist with event setup and function requests
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset, but not required
• Dynamic and enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple tasks
• Highly Health and Safety conscious, dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work shiftwork and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
