Job Title: Dishwasher Steward

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher Steward to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are washed and stored properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Sort and store cutlery and china in designated areas
  • Properly use and store chemicals
  • Keep the kitchen area clean and organized
  • Ensure safe handling of tableware to reduce breakage
  • Wash and store pots and pans
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
