Responsibilities- Support the Executive Chef: Assist in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Kitchen Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the lounge/in-room dining kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Menu Development: Contribute to menu development and innovation, bringing creative ideas and culinary expertise to the table.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Executive Chef to order supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the kitchen team.
- Culinary Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles.
- Passion for Food: A passion for food and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace and professionalism.
- Certification: Valid Food Handler Certification is required.
