Job Title: Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Desjardins Insurance Nicole Fulcher Agency in Uxbridge, Ontario.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing personalized relationships with clients, educating and advising them on our insurance products, and meeting marketing goals. This is a full-time, permanent position in our office, and we are looking for a serious candidate who is passionate about the insurance industry and helping clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through personalized telephone and email contact.
  • Provide education and advice on our insurance products, adhering to company underwriting policies.
  • Sales and service of all lines of insurance offered through Desjardins.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Make sales appointments and service clients with billing and claims.
  • Marketing and lead generation.
  • Administrative duties as assigned by the agent.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and driven for results.
  • Ability to relate to customers and provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing and people-focused, with a strong work ethic and commitment to success.
  • Organized and able to problem-solve, with the ability to work as a team.
  • Attention to detail and a strong understanding of social media and technology.
  • Ability to motivate and lead, with leadership skills.
Qualifications:
  • OTL Property and Casualty license required prior to being hired.
  • LLQP Life License required prior to being hired or within 9 months of being hired.
  • College diploma in a related field, such as Business or Marketing.
  • Sales and customer service experience.
  • Reliable transportation to Uxbridge, Ontario.
  • 2 years of previous insurance or sales experience preferred.
