Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team at Norway House Pharmacy Ltd in Norway House, Manitoba. As a pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care and consultative services to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with government standards and regulations, ensuring staff are trained on regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Implement business strategies to support our goals and guiding statements.
  • Support staff members in the pharmacy, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Deliver high-quality pharmacy functions, including prescription preparation and checking.
  • Advise patients on medication use, administer immunizations, and follow controlled substance protocols.
  • Consult with physicians and medical staff on medication dosages and address prescription errors.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures, understand medication ordering and inventory control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in Manitoba and good standing with the College of Pharmacy.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, commitment to customer service, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
