Pharmacist Job Opportunity in Norway House

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to join our team at Norway House Pharmacy Ltd in Norway House, Manitoba.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a licensed pharmacist in Manitoba with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality pharmacy services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with government standards and regulations applicable to the pharmacy
  • Implement business strategies to support our goals and guiding statements
  • Support other staff members in the pharmacy by working as part of a collaborative team
  • Deliver a high standard of usual pharmacy functions, including preparation and checking of prescriptions
  • Advise patients on proper medication use and administration
  • Administer immunizations and vaccines to patients
  • Consult with physicians and medical staff on medication dosages and prescription errors
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures for the pharmacy
  • Understand medication ordering and inventory control
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Currently a licensed Pharmacist in Manitoba and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy
  • Superior interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Highly organized, takes initiative, and has excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to details
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
