Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Aide to join our team at Scott Manor Residence. As a Patient Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their living areas and common spaces
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Participate in recreational activities and social events to promote resident engagement and well-being
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
