We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Worker to join our team at Collingwood Neighbourhood House. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality youth programs and services that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement youth programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with young people, community organizations, and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to young people to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to youth services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of young people.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, youth work, community development).
- 1-2 years of experience working with young people in a community agency or youth drop-in centre setting.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
