Senior Sales Executive

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Brandt Group of Companies as a Sales and Marketing Leader for our Utility Trailer business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment distribution and be able to leverage this expertise to drive sales growth and market share in the utility trailer industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a distribution strategy for utility trailers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement plans for growing Brandt sales with dealers.
- Aid the sales team in achieving Brandt's product sales growth by providing high-level product, application, industry, customer, and competitor knowledge.
- Coordinate and participate in delivering ongoing local product knowledge and application training for regional sales and dealer sales teams.
- Research and track competitor product pricing levels, activities, programs, and tactics.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to ensure Brandt's pricing, programs, and marketing strategies are positioned to penetrate new markets and grow existing markets profitably.
- Identify product development opportunities that promote differentiation, enhance market penetration, and deliver increased profit opportunities for Brandt.
- Provide insights and input on the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and profitability goals.
- Participate in end-customer visits with the sales teams as required.
- Travel extensively throughout the region network to actively support direct visits with dealers and trailer dealer contacts and their customers.
- Establish personal relationships with dealers.
- Educate dealers on all aspects of Brandt offerings.
- Assist dealers with sales and marketing opportunities, including advertising, demonstrations, field days, and open hours.
- Provide input into sales program development.
- Provide input into product development.
- Assist in coordinating trade shows and attending trade shows.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or product or technical support knowledge and experience in heavy construction and forestry equipment working with manufacturers and/or dealers.
- Excellent sales, marketing, and business development experience in equipment distribution.
- Recent drivers abstract required.
- Valid passport required for international travel.
