Kontron Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for executing the purchasing strategy, managing supplier research, and analyzing market trends to ensure the best possible prices for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute purchasing strategy and contract negotiations with suppliers;
  • Manage supplier research and analysis;
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet company objectives;
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects;
  • Travel as required.

Requirements:

  • 1st cycle University Degree in administration, operations management, or Cegep degree;
  • 1-3 years of experience in the electronic field;
  • Excel advanced level, MRP/EPR;
  • Knowledge of SAP, printed circuits boards (PCBs), servers, manufacturing planning;
  • Autonomous, meticulous, flexible, good analysis capacity and problem solving skills;
  • French and English (spoken and written).
