Medical Imaging Radiography Specialist

At Spa 23 Fitness and Lifestyle, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and patients. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all imaging procedures are performed safely and effectively.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiography, including experience with digital radiography and computed radiography equipment. You will also have a working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing radiographic examinations, including CT scans and electrocardiograms
• Monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure high-quality radiographs
• Providing instruction to patients before and during examinations
• Assessing the relevance of examinations based on patient clinical history

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-year community college or undergraduate degree in medical radiation sciences
• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiography or eligible for registration
• Current technical experience with digital radiography and computed radiography equipment
• Working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
