Computer Network Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Specialist to join our team at Quality Breeze Inc. as a key member of our IT department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer networks, including LAN and WAN architecture, network protocols, and security measures.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. You will also be required to evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, and provide problem-solving services to network users.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer and technology knowledge, including intranet, internet, servers, desktop applications, and file management software. You will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer networks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer network support
  • Strong knowledge of computer and technology concepts, including network protocols, security measures, and operating system software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
