About the Role

The Bilingual Human Resources Manager will be based in Mississauga and report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources. The primary goal of this position is to provide internal consulting and support for all HR initiatives and objectives within designated divisions.

  7. Supporting talent acquisition and retention efforts

This role requires the ability to work closely with management staff as an advisor and business partner, ensuring alignment of HR policies and procedures across all locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing employment-related legal matters from initial stages to resolution
  • Developing and conducting training programs for managers and employees
  • Implementing HR initiatives, policies, and procedures
  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Proactively managing employee issues, including leaves, attendance, and ethics points
  • Ensuring performance issues are appropriately documented and monitored
Requirements
  1. Experience working as an HR generalist or manager, serving an internal client group with a wide range of HR matters
  2. Bilingualism in French and English, with proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
  3. Experience working with co-workers or clients in both languages
  4. Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors would be an asset
  5. Understanding of profit and loss (P&L) statements would be beneficial

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
