Food Preparation and Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation and Service Team Lead to join our team at D & D Brothers Investment Group Limited.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food in our kitchen, ensuring that high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership skills and a passion for cooking to take their career to the next level.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $40,000 per year, plus opportunities for overtime and professional development. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment, where our team members can thrive and grow.
Key Responsibilities- To prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients whenever possible;
- To oversee the training of junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food;
- To maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have what we need to deliver great service;
- To inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed;
- To supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- At least 7 months' experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A flexible attitude and ability to work well under pressure;
- A strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
