Job Summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, receiving, storing, and shipping materials in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against delivery documents
  • Store and retrieve materials from warehouse shelves, using forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed
  • Pick and pack customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and operate warehouse software and equipment
