Job Title: Material Handler

Linesteel (1973) Limited is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in our structural steel fabrication company. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from vehicles and equipment
  • Moving products and materials within the warehouse or fabrication area
  • Tending or operating equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings
  • Selecting appropriate paint or mix paints
  • Painting small items and applying touch-ups using paint brushes
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Cleaning work area
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and odorous environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
