We are seeking a skilled Pastry Artisan to join our team at Calgary Italian Bakery Ltd.

About the Job
  • The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a baking environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes according to recipes or special customer orders.
  2. Bake mixed dough and batters to ensure high-quality products meet established standards.
  3. Prepare special orders, such as decorating cakes and baked goods.
  4. Ensure that kitchen and food service areas are clean and well-maintained.
  5. Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Degree in baking or related field (not required but an asset).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Willingness to relocate for the right opportunity.
Compensation

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
