Job Title: Partsman Journeyman

Job Summary:

Western Star Trucks North is seeking a skilled Partsman Journeyman to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ordering, warehousing, and inventory control of parts, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Process daily orders, receive and ship parts
  • Answer phone calls and provide sales, price quotes, and other information
  • Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, communicate with and support other dealership personnel and departments
  • Operate non-powered material handling equipment, pull and fill orders from stock
  • Notify parts administrator of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
  • Participate in training and development programs, attend department meetings
  • Report safety concerns and incidents to Supervisor/Manager
  • Maintain a professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Assist in maintaining Elite Support certification, clean, organized, and safe department

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Certificate Required
  • Minimum 6 years of Parts experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, lift up to 60 Lbs, operate a forklift (asset)
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills, sales driven, organized, and self-motivated
