As a Brain Injury Rehabilitation Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing essential services that enable our clients to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement programs designed to enhance the efficiency and safe delivery of Community Support Services to clients with Brain Injury.
  • Collaborate with the Rehab Service Coordinator to complete daily report writing, incident reports, Individual Rehabilitation Plan, and quarterly reporting.
  • Manage a caseload with flexibility while responding to other duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure individual needs are met through functional goal setting.
  • Provide cognitive and compensatory strategies that support functional goal setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the Social Services/Health Sector, coordinating services for individuals with Brain Injury is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the effects of an ABI is an asset; training will be provided.
  • Community-based experience working with individuals with a Brain Injury, physical disabilities, or special needs.
  • Highly organized and excellent time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of behavior management principles.
  • General understanding of computer hardware and software.
