We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team at Edge Industrial Supply Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate and efficient parts ordering and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Parts Ordering and Delivery: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records on inventory control system, prepare and track work orders, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, address customers' complaints or concerns, and advise on use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Sales and Marketing: Conduct sales calls, set-up displays of retail parts and accessories, and sell spare and replacement parts.
- Warehouse and Supply Management: Clean and maintain office, supply area, or warehouse, store items in warehouse, tool room, or supply area, and identify, label, and catalogue items received.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Skills: Inventory control software, MS Office, SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD), Internet, and Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts.
- Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
