Parts Technician

We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team at Edge Industrial Supply Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of parts and supplies to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to ensure prompt communication with customers and internal teams.
- Clean and maintain office, supply area, or warehouse spaces to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Conduct sales calls to promote parts and accessories to customers.
- Set up displays of retail parts and accessories to showcase our products.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Handle cash transactions and process incoming requisitions.
- Identify, label, and catalogue items received to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
- Maintain records on inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking.
- Prepare and track work orders to ensure efficient processing.
- Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Process incoming requisitions and receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
- Sell spare and replacement parts to customers.
- Store items in warehouse, tool room, or supply area to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Inventory control software experience.
- MS Office skills.
- SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD) knowledge.
- Internet proficiency.
- Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts experience.
- Heavy equipment specialization.
- Criminal record check.
- Own transportation.
- Attention to detail.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
