Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) tools to support executive decision-making
- Create KPI dashboards for various Supply Chain teams
- Design and implement data models that support business requirements
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand BI needs
- Develop and execute the organization's business intelligence strategy aligned with corporate goals
- Conduct thorough data analysis to derive actionable insights for informed decision-making
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for effective BI solutions
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
- Provide leadership in the BI domain, offering guidance to junior analysts and team members
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data preparation, data warehousing, and databases
- At least 5 years of experience with MS Power BI, MicroStrategy, or comparable BI and analytics platforms
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (Python skills an asset)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including advanced Excel features (pivot tables, Power Query)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access (tables, query, macro) and intermediate understanding of databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
- Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets, ensuring data integrity
- Experience in data mining from multiple systems, handling big data sets both external and internal
- Experience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution (an asset)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a context of transformational change and adaptability to evolving business needs
- Proven ability to provide leadership and mentorship, especially in guiding junior analysts
- Track record of providing high-quality deliverables on time and under pressure as well as managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
