Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
  • Typically work in teams of two to three and climb 1-2 turbines a day
  • Travel a minimum of % per year

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
  • Agricultural background or work experience is a great transferable avenue to this entry-level service technician position
  • Ability to train and certify through our state-of-the-art wind technician training program
