**A DAY IN THE LIFE**

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Swift Current, Saskatchewan, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, but you also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). The team here normally works in teams of two to three and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day and will travel a minimum of 30% per year.

**MORE ABOUT YOU**
- You will need a safety-focused mindset and your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment
- You will bring a high school dipolma or equivalent and you will bring 2-3years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
- An agricultural background or work experience is a greate transferrable avenue to this entry level service technician position with Vestas
- You will train and certify through our state-of-the-art wind technician training program
