About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Peace Arch Gardening Services Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscaping staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Labour and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Construction and Project Management: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscaping features, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate work records and logs, providing regular reports to management on project progress and team performance.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Problem Solving and Quality Control: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to company policies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
