About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Labourer to join our team at Sabwa Foods Product and Packaging Inc. as a Production Labourer - Bakery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-quality bakery products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety and handling skills to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
  • Machine Operation: Assist in the operation of mixing and grinding machines, and feed and unload processing machines as needed.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues to the production team.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cleaning of machines and immediate work areas.
  • Teamwork: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and work collaboratively with the production team to meet production goals.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Environment: The work site environment is cold/refrigerated and wet/damp.
  • Work Setting: The work setting is in a bakery environment.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Language: The primary language of work is English.
