We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to manage the kitchen operations at YUZU BOWL AND BISTRO. This is a permanent position, offering 30-40 hours of work per week, with the possibility of overtime.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a kitchen team, preparing and cooking meals, and maintaining inventory records. A secondary school graduation certificate and 2 years of experience in the food service industry are required.

Responsibilities
  • Determine food portions and costs, ensuring quality and profitability
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following recipes and presentation standards
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining efficient kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the food service industry
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
