Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Summary:
The Heavy Duty Mechanic - Equipment Specialist is a key member of our team at Secure Energy, responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy construction and industry-specific equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, power and drive trains, and steering and suspension systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil and filter changes.
- Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.
- Lead by example and drive our safety policies and procedures.
- Provide clear direction and leadership to heavy duty mechanics and welders.
- Assist with general upkeep of the shop and yard.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman's Certification as Heavy Equipment Technician.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related industry work experience.
- Valid and current Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
