Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Services Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording daily business transactions, maintaining client files, and preparing financial statements. This role requires strong organizational skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
* Record daily business transactions such as cash receipts and disbursements
* Maintain client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedules
* Keep track of accounts receivable and accounts payable
* Provide support to team members in related tasks
* Manage the reconciliation of bank accounts
* Prepare GST-QST reports
* Prepare T1, T3, T4-RL1, and T5 returns
* Prepare interim and annual financial statements
* Maintain amortization plans for tangible capital assets
* Collect, analyze, and summarize account information for financial reporting purposes

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field
* At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an accounting firm
* Established experience in accounting cycle and balance sheet reconciliation
* Strong sense of customer service and adherence to the highest standards of professionalism
* Ability and interest in working in a growing business environment
* Professionalism in the execution of tasks
* High level of drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams
