About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Installer to join our team at SERIT FIRE PROTECTION. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining sprinkler systems in various locations, ensuring the highest level of fire safety and protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment.
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools.
  • Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment.
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment.
  • Service and repair sprinkler systems.
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Test systems for leaks using testing equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements
  • Sprinkler System Installer Trade Certification.
  • Driver's License.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
  • Level one to five apprenticeship training.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Driver's validity license check.
  • Criminal record check.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must have excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
