Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology team. The successful candidate will work closely with our attending physicians to deliver high-quality care to our patients, assisting with procedures and providing comprehensive care from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities

  • Perform gastroenterology consultations (inpatient)
  • Follow up gastroenterology patients (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Contact patients with lab and test results as needed
  • Perform other related assigned duties
  • Participate in on-call coverage

Qualifications

  • Current valid license to practice nursing in New York State
  • Master of Science degree in Nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
  • At least one year of experience in gastroenterology, preferably with Spanish-speaking skills
