Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
