Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead product development, manufacturing and commercialization initiatives within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cannabis, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and managing project-related activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage project plans for product development and manufacturing, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, regulatory affairs, and production, to ensure project objectives are met while managing conflicts, resource constraints, and scheduling challenges.
  • Proactively identify and communicate key project issues and concerns across departments, providing actionable recommendations to the portfolio manager.
  • Understand and articulate the roles and responsibilities within the organization, clearly communicating project tasks to relevant stakeholders and taking accountability for project progress and setbacks.
  • Estimate and manage resource needs, including quantity and timing for all project-related activities, ensuring that all resources are effectively utilized.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Life Sciences, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience; a master's degree or certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 4 years of project management experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cannabis, or CPG industries, with a proven track record of successful product development.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to navigate complex project challenges in a fast-paced environment.
