Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and schedules, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Processing vehicle deals, including new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, and fleet transactions.
  • Reconciling factory program money schedules to vehicle sales, guaranteeing the financial health of our organization.
  • Posting vehicle invoices into CDK, accounting for all financial transactions.
  • Calculating commissions to be paid accurately.
  • Maintaining sales-related schedules to support our team's success.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements through the reconciliation of various accounts, providing a clear picture of our financial performance.
  • Assisting auditors with fiscal year-end working papers, ensuring a smooth audit process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of [estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000] per annum, depending on experience, in addition to comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.
  • Previous experience as an accountant, preferably in the automotive industry (CDK experience is highly valued).
  • Excellent Excel skills, creating detailed spreadsheets efficiently.
  • The ability to work efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner, contributing to the seamless operation of our finance department.
  • High levels of professionalism and a positive attitude, fostering a great work environment.
  • The capacity to handle accounting files for various departments, making every day at Go Auto unique and challenging.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, actively participating in department meetings.
