As a Pharmacy Professional at Shoppers Drug Mart, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on medications and health products. Your responsibilities will include managing the operations of the pharmacy, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and practicing to full scope in providing professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and provide a welcoming experience.
- Practice within federal and provincial regulations, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to provide customer care and maintain all records required in accordance with legislation and standards of practice.
- Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues, and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met.
