About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Activities: Supervise and direct the activities of other medical technologists or technicians, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, including sterilization equipment and instrumentation, to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Supply Management: Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are readily available for use.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling and workflow, including managing routine office functions such as reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that supplies are stocked and available when needed.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims, such as health insurance or workers' compensation, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Task Management: Manage tasks, including ordering supplies and equipment, and scheduling and confirming appointments.
