Structural Engineer

RocMar Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing construction projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and company standards.
- Design and Development: Design and develop construction plans, specifications, and procedures for building construction projects, including structural analysis and calculations.
- Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to gather information, inspect construction progress, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, or other information, and prepare reports.
- Contract Administration: Prepare contract documents, review and evaluate tenders, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on design and construction.
- Registration: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
- Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software, with experience in cloud-based platforms and Primavera.
